I started practicing yoga while attending the University of Colorado in Boulder. After training with Corepower Yoga in 2009, I opened a beloved yoga studio called Urban Yogi in downtown San Diego, where I trained 50 yoga teachers through Yoga Alliance (RYS 200) and Reiki Master Teachers in Usui Reiki.
Having received 800 more hours of training myself, I’m now a certified yoga therapist, serving on faculty at the Soul of Yoga Institute in Encinitas.
Becoming a mother in 2020 inspired me to focus on maternal health and yogic self-care for the challenging first years of motherhood.
I’m studying Integral Health at California Institute for Human Science, and devoting my academic research to “effective yoga strategies for maternal well-being in the first five years after childbirth.”
I’m honored to be helping mothers across the U.S. feel more alive, supported, and hopeful about the future, and I dedicate my work to Peace on Earth.
We usually get unattainable 'suggestions' that we already know we should be doing, and then we just feel guilty and like we’re bad at this Mom thing. These are actually helpful and achievable!!
